DVD burners and players can be very picky with brands. While Verbatim is usually
very good there are a lot of fakes being sold under brand names. Could be that the
ones you have were made from 2 different dye lots. The best media for movies is Taiyo
Yuden. Ritek is also good. Just make sure you get them from a trustworthy dealer
such as http://www.supermediastore.com. Always burn at speeds no faster than 4X with
movies to minimize errors. Bad media is a major cause of movie problems.
