Not that it helps in your case, but to be honest wireless connections are a pain.
I am experiencing the same at the moment with 4 pc's! Sometimes they will connect,
other times not, even though I can see a signal strength of 90%. We are currently
running with no WEP and only the firewall in the router - every time I attempt WEP
encryption I may just as well toss a coin as to which computer will connect. I kept
getting messages about conflicting IP addresses being allocated, so maybe the way
to go is not to have Windows automatically assign an IP? I am reaching the end of
my patience on this, so am shortly going to call someone out - will keep you posted.
