Harddrive Partitioning Friday, January 20, 2006 at 10:45 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jen L. (50 messages posted) Ok, I bought a new 200 GB Western Digital hardrive recently, and have it set up as a slave drive to my current 40 GB harddrive. Problem is, I created an MS-DOS boot disk but when I load it I get a Starting... A:\> I typed FDISK, pushed enter, and it told me bad command! I don't know what to do, plus i'm wondering how a slave drive works (would i need to make sure i save files into this drive directly?). This is really getting on my nerves.
