re: Question about 'Windows Installer Appears Every Time I Start an Application' Monday, February 6, 2006 at 1:11 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mark Stephens (6 messages posted) When windows installer starts go through the cycle to see what it is trying to install rather than cancelling the installation dialogue; if that does not work, go to your add/remove programs windows and look through your list to see what was some of the latest programs that you may have installed and delete those installation files. If you have a problem uninstalling a particular program - reinstall the program(which creates a new uninstallation program) and then re-uninstall the program.
