I recently re-installed my copy of XP, having previously recieved SP2 via automatic updates. However automatic updates still seems to think that I have SP2 installed, so won't re-install it. Is there a way I can force a refresh of my system status WITHOUT going through the microsoft verification process (for some reason unknown to me my product id isn't recognised as legal....) that anyone knows of? Much appreciating any help...
