"Workstation" service, when enabled causes a shutdown process hang because "CardReaderLookup
Window" will not end task or quit running, shutdown etc. allowing WinXP to finish
an orderly shutdown process. Via mscinfig utility, disable the "Workstation" service
and the "CardReaderLookupWindow" problem goes away. Re-enable the "Workstation"
serice and the "CardReaderLookupWindow" problen returns to interfere with a normal
OS shutdown process. Anybody...any truely effective and intelligently thought though
suggestions for an effective resolution to this would be appreciated.
