Can't say how much I appreciate people like you sharing your knowledge with PC novices
like myself. Not only you solved a puzzle that was driving me nuts, but you also
saved me some bucks of that new sound card I was about to buy, assuming something
was wrong with mine after installing Win XP. Finally I got sound after two months
of head scratching. Thank you!
