Router Frusturations

I don't know what went wrong, but I connected two computers, both running XP, to
a router which is hooked up to DSL. The problem is this. The older computer is recoginizing
that it is connected to the internet, but it is "limited or no connectivity" and
browsers cannot be opened. The computer that was already connected to the internet
says that "a network cable is unplugged" and it does not recognize that the other
computer is connected. However everything is plugged in correctly. I think it may
be a problem with the router settings but this router was purchased without a manuel
or anything, so I don't know how to access the controls. If anyone knows what the
problem could be, or how to access router controls, that would help immensly. The
router is a D-Link DI-604 Residential Gateway.
Thanks so much,
Emily
