Problems Installing Windows Media Player 10 Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 8:05 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Neal (27 messages posted) I had what I thought was WMP9, already installed, since I have used it quite a bit, but found out I only had 8. A message kept coming up asking me if I wanted to install the newest version of WMP, and I said yes. I believe the download is o.k., but the installation always stops, by telling me a problem has been encountered, then I am automatically rolled back to my last WMP. Now, when I click on the WMP icon, all I get is this message, "An Internal Application error has occurred." I can't watch anything now. Please help me. Thanks!
