If you know the name of the update, you look for its folder ($NtUninstallKBXXXXXX$) in the windows directory and run spuninst.exe from within the spuninst subfolder. Sorting the folders by date created could help find which one if you're not sure. Running System Restore from Safe Mode would be another option.
