KB822603 Hotfix and file versions Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 8:51 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Orhan (133 messages posted) I have two PC's. The first one is running XP Pro+SP1 with patch 822603 installed, the another one without this patch. Surprisingly the version numbers of usb*.* files are the same on both computers:5.1.2600.1106 Microsoft says the file version should be 5.1.2600.1243 after installing this hotfix (usbhub.sys,usbport.sys...). Did I something wrong? Should I install this patch on second pc as well?
