I looked at properties on one of the Excel files. Under file type, it says Excel Worksheet, but when you open it in Excel you get a message saying file format is not recognized. Word files will open in word but look as though they are only a few lines long and with an unrecognizable font. Mostly little rectangles. PDF files say they are Acrobat files, but will not open in Acrobat.
