The incredible disappearing downloads Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 9:19 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Lloyd Matthews (10 messages posted) When I download files with IE, they will either never appear, or appear for a couple of seconds in the designated folder and then vanish. I then can't find them anywhere on the computer. Also, the download box closes whether or not I have "close after download" checked. (I have XP SP2 with the latest MS updates.) -Dowloading with ftp in IE works fine -Downloading with Firefox works fine Can anyone help me fix this problem? -Thanks!
