Transfering Files From Master to Slave Drive Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 5:16 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ken (23 messages posted) Recently I installed a second hard drive with the intention of running my OS on the Master Drive and keeping all the Program Files, Downloads etc. on the slave. When I attempt to move these files, it makes a copy. How can I transfer all of these files from my C: drive to my new F: drive so that all programs still open and I can delete the Program Files etc on the C: drive? Maybe this is a stupid question, but I just don't want to mess around too much if I"m not sure what will happen.
