I did the same thing you did on an old Windows 98 SE machine. I added a 138GB slave
HDD. The old 8GB HDD (C:) was 2/3rds filled already, with many years of tax software,
and lots of games too. I uninstalled ALL of the games and reinstalled them on the
new D: drive. I am thinking of doing the same with the tax software too, but I will
have to figure out how to save the tax data etc. to move to the new location. I
have left all of the old system files, and other Office system files in place, but
now the C: drive is less than half filled, which isn't too bad. All future additions
will be going on the new D: drive. I am already planning on putting a big slave
HDD on my Windows XP pro machine next, as I want to start adding stuff to that, not
fill up the C: drive like happened on the Windows 98SE machine. My XP pro pc has
a 60GB HDD, which is only 1/5 full at this point.
Thanks,
Billyray
