Scheduled Tasks

I am trying to get a scheduled task to run daily. I am trying to use xxcopy to perform
an incremental backup of one drive to another. If I open a command prompt and type
in xxcopy g: i:\hdrive /backup /bn it runs the backup and copies only new files.
I have tested it several times by creating text files and it works perfectly. When
I put it in Scheduled Tasks though nothing happens. I put in the identical command
string and set the time to run a few minutes ahead and sit back and wait. Nothing
happens. The new file is not copied and I can't tell if scheduler ran at all. I
tried putting that command in a batch file but when I tried to run it it said "Incorrect
syntax". I am stumped. Anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong? Or how about
a 3rd party task scheduler?
