Dude or Dudess, I have no clue how to follow you on this. Compaq has a reputation
of having problems with their restore CD's. IE.. They do not work. They also should
have a boot partition ie. the "D" drive that should contain installation files. On
boot up do you see a "F9" or other function key to "repair or reinstall"? Hard to
follow at this point.
