For crying out loud! The thread is three years old and already huge enough

If there is any reason at all to pursue this, why bury the new remarks in an antique,
complicated, slow-loading turkey of a thread like this? Should there be anything
truly pertinent that can't be handled in a shorter, newer thread, then include a
LINK, but only to a specific message out of this awful old jumble, not to the OP
of the thing. Does that make sense? Or is it just too rational?
