In addition, if your game is loaded on an NTFS formatted hard drive, starting the
computer with a DOS boot disk, will not see your hard drive, therefore the game will
not even be available to play unless you are loading it from a floppy or CD ROM (if
you boot with CD ROM support). DOS games are problematic in XP due to the fact that
XP has only emulation, not real DOS as does Win 9X. There are many other factors
that make it hard to impossible to run DOS games on XP as well...
