Black Screen???? Friday, April 7, 2006 at 3:02 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Aimster (7 messages posted) Xp Pro SP2 The last 2 times I've turned my computer on it makes a loud beeping sound & then goes to a black screen with white writing. It's been happening since I did a check disk the other night. And I have to press F2 to resume. Any ideas as to how to stop this? Im sorry if I did not provide any more info, im a noob at this, and I really do not know what else to add.
