Can't view Program Files or Windows directory from remote PC

I recently got a PC with XP Pro on it (I'm a Win2K user). When I map a drive on my
Win2k PC to the C$ share on my XP machine, I can see all the directories fine, but
if I try to view the Program Files or Windows directories it won't let me see anything.
Also if I try to connect to an XP machine's drive from my win2k machine using my
XP machine's 'Administrator' username and password it doesn't accept it. If I connect
while logged in to my Win2K machine with a username and password that is set up as
an adminstrator on the XP machine I can connect to shares on the XP machine just
fine. I still can't see the Program Files and Windows directory contents though.
What part of XP's security am I missing here?
