One large drive means RAID 0 or striping. Data is split across the drives depending how you have partitioned them. Put them back the way they were and backup the data. If you have not tried to do anything with them in Windows, the data should be fine. When putting them back it will make a difference which one was on channel 1 and channel 2. So if they do not work right away, then swap the channels.
