What what you said, there is some time from the turn off to the torn on. Here are
some questions.
1) do you really hear the fans stop running? Do all the lights go off? Are you sure
it is not in "hibernation"?
2) When you go into the BIOS setup, is thee anything to ishow a person has made
cahnges to the "power on timer", or whateve it is called in your BIOS. It is a feature
that will make the computer power up at a pre determinded time.
3) Also, check the "wake on LAN" and "Wake on Ring", If you BIOS has them.
Sorry I can't provide a quick answer. This seems very odd, but it has been reported
before. Maybe somebody else already knows the answer.
