Some directories (folders) are not shareable using Simple File Sharing. You need 
to turn that off then use Access permissions via the Sharing and Secutiry property 
to set them. All systems should to have the same group name, userid and password 
(to make it a bit easier). 

Then you go into each drive, create a new share (dont' try to use C$, D$, etc., they 
are used for internal requirements) and set the necessary access rights. I just went 
through this recently because I could not share some of the directories under Documents 
and Settings that I needed between 3 XP machines.
