Hi:
Everything was fine, I had this auto update done, I get this message Updates have
to be applied , you need to reboot now, I click restart. Then upon a lot of time,
I get a blank black screen, the mouse on the Taskbar shows the hour glass. Nearly
after 5 minutes of this unusual bootup, all Icons appear, ZoneAlarm, all Icoons start
appearing in the task bar, then I get this error
1. Error initializing Winsock DLL
2. Cant start WSA StartUp
None of my internet connections work, I cannot setup an dial-up internet connection
in the Internet connection wizard. WhenI choose change Windows Firewall settings,
I cannot start Windows Firewall Service (ICS )started
When I try changing the internet settings I get this error
Cannot load Remore Access Connection Manager Service, Error 711: Try Help pages.
All becoz this auto -update feature.
How do I revert back to a working configuration? Any help setting this WinSOCK error.
Thanks Much,
AJ
