Hey Dude,
Thanks for your reply.
I did actually go ahead with the first reply to my Question and booted into Safe
mode and Restored using system restore.
I never dont that before as i never thought about booting to safe mode, Mostly due
to the fact that i didnt know howto boot safemode. Nor did i ever bother to find
out, It just never clicked to go find out how.i always seemed to get around it.
Tho for you i have some questions on System Restore.
You say "System Restore is notoriously unreliable",..Whys you/and otehr say that
for?
And what other ways are there about restoring a system back?
The resons i use system restore is cos its simple, Quick way of fixing my probs..
Yes i do backup everything using "Data Keeper" (Apart of "Partition Magic", I find
that program also simple and effective for Me) To my D:\
I also use Norton Ghost and make backups.
So System restore helps me the quickests as it doesnt invole going through Ghost
and restoring and it has more restor points to choose.and i dont often use Ghost
to backup weekly or monthly..etc
Where is i use ghost if need be to avoid Reinstalling WinXP....
Mainly use ghost to make a quick backup of allll installed software, games setting
etc..
Anywho, ill stop at that cos ill confuse myself if i go ferther...
Thanks for your reply.
