There's an IE browser extension called "research" that should be listed in "manage
addons" It has a button that goes on the toolbar. When you click, it will open
a sidebar with various search engines you can set up, or use the defaults included.
Usually has dictionary, encyclopedia etc. but also has MSN and you can add your
own search engines too. When you fill in the search box it will show the results
in the sidebar like you said. This is one of the things I miss using Firefox.
Thanks,
