I connected a desktop PC and a laptop by UTP cable. Both computers using WinXP Pro
SP2 and belongs to the same workgroup.
Desktop Computer name is DeskTop.
Laptop Computer name is LapTop.
Desktop Computer has a shared folder named TMMB. Laptop Computer has a shared folder
named TMLT
Desktop Computer IP is 100.100.100.1, SubnetMask là 255.255.255.0
Laptop Computer IP is 100.100.100.2, SubnetMask là 255.255.255.0
Guess Accounts on both computers are Enabled and with Empty password
The problem is I can access to the shared folder TMLT from the desktop Computer but
I can't access to the shared folder TMMB from the laptop computer. The notice is:
"\\Desktop is not accessible. You might not have permisson to use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.
Access is denied."
Why??? I have tried to turn off the firewall on the desktop computer but can't solve
the problem
Could any one help me !!!
Thanks a lot.
