Hi!
I Googled many times about this problem and was pulling all remaining hair out! I
had the same problem and had to re-boot everytime I switched a USB disc, tried to
download pictures from a camera etc. Otherwise the PC (3-year old Dell Latitude)
would not "see" the usb discs. Then, as described by the other posters, at close
down the laptop hung until I ended the cardreaderlookupwindow.
Maybe there is more than one solution to this problem, but if the following is your
situation, try it. I just removed Photoshop Album version 3 (free magazine disc version)
and it fixed my cardreaderlookupwindow problem immediately ... and I can now use
USB discs and swap them around again. BTW, I also ran Regseeker to clean out any
Registry references at the same time, so maybe you have to do this also.
