Good evening fellow experts, sure could use some of that expert help. Seems that my computer may have had a virus, so after attemting to remove it with some software, my desktop icons have lost their transparency. Now they have a blue box around their labels, and it looks god awful, something worse thant windows 98. What have i tried? The solutions that'works' for some people including: 1. system>adv>performance>settings>use drop shadows for desktop icons selected. Tried this. Did not work I have no idea how to fix it. Ironically if you create another user account, the icons look perfect--but who wants to move a thousand different files, and reinstall everything etc etc. weird. I know. Am i missing a system file, i think not. I will do anything. Please email me..mmarek@bellsouth dot net thanks so much, all the best Martin
