I have a comment about Can't
access some websites while using a shared PPPoE connection:

Having suffered from this problem for many weeks, and just fixed it five minutes ago I'd like to share the knowledge I gained from the fabulous community that is the world wide web. What worked for me was changing the MTU value for the network cards in both the client machine and the host machine. The easiest way I found to do this was using the utility "DrTCP" described in this article: http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/93/broadband_connection_tweaking_guide/index.html If you're just keen for a quick fix I would advise using the MTU value of 1454 And just for completeness here is the link to the main body of knowledge about this issue on Annoyances.org: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-107 Hope this helps someone. If you'd like to repay me, please be nice to someone. Nerds rule (especially the really shy ones)
