I read an article about ICS with PPPoE, and it specified that i must lower my MTU (maximum transmission unit). I followed the steps , lowered my MTU, and then restarted my computer. But surprise ... when i checked , the limit that worked the previous time was not good anymore. So i looked for a lower limit that worked, found it , set my MTU to that limit, and then restarted. But .... surprise :( ... this limit was not good either after restart. I repeated this operation a couple of times ... reaching a MTU of 500 bytes instead of 1480 (the starting point), but it still did not work ... Am i doing something wrong ? ... Have any of you encountered this problem before ? I would very much apreciate any help you could offer me :) Thanks !
