password authentication system Friday, July 21, 2006 at 3:13 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Patty (5 messages posted) I recently aquired a Dell Latitude laptop that has this little problem. When I turn it on it says "this computer system, 276ZJ01-D35B, is protected by a password authentication system"......you cannot acess the data without the correct password. I'm not, nor do I know, the original owner, and no I didn't rip it off from anyone.
