THIS WAS sO SIMPLE. I went to the Dell site put on the service tag searched the
troubleshooting area with the phrase password authentication system read a couple
of lines it said password is "password" I tried it, Bingo! Next screen that came
up was almost the same as the first one only it says this Harddisk 126874524173..
is protected by bla bla bla as before. so I added disk to my search phrase read
a few lines then I tried administrator it actually checked but no dice... so i clicked
the link that i was reading the header for I thought in the header the rest of the
word had been cut off as they do, but when i got to the link i clicked on it said
the same thing "Admin" so i typed that, and Yep BINGO! Those are the defaults for
that password authentication system. "Password" is for the system and "admin" is
for the disk. I'm in and by the way the cmos did clear when i was tryng to clear
it cuz it says "time of day not set" and it wants me to run SETUP program strike
F1 to continue, F2 to run setup.
Thanks again all.
