I was having this same issue, with the iexplore.exe application error, I read up
on the subject on several sites. One thread said that the issue was with Yahoo! &
Google toolbars. They said if you remove these toolbars the issue will go away. They
also said you can reinstall the latest versions of the toolbars, and the problem
would go away. So I tried it (it sounded MUCH better than some of the other things
I read!) And SURE ENOUGH! The issue went away, and I have since reinstalled my toolbars
with no further problems. Just thought I'd share this, for the next person having
trouble with this issue!
