I have a question about Dealing with Bad Memory (RAM):

my computer is shutting its self down at random moments with no warning. the power cell is fine, and it's not overheating. my best guess is a problem with the memory chip. could it possibly be something different? is there a way to check and be sure it's the memory before i replace it? i would really appreciate any feedback. thanks
