Hi, I am having the same problem with the spoolsv.exe. I did exactly what you mention
and I found one file in the registry and I deleted. However, when I reboot the computer,
it is still showing 100% CPU usage. I try every tip that is mention in this forum
and my problem is still not resolved. The funny thing is that when I go to the Printers
& Fax folder, all the printers icon are flashing and I notices that at the bottom
status bar, it kept flashing saying "Finding items...". I was able to bring down
the CPU usage by stopping and restarting the Printer Spool from Control Panel ->Admin
Tools->Services. This works but when I begin using MS Word or try to print, spoolsv.exe
goes back up to 100%. Any suggestion or idea how to fix this problem? Thanks.
