I think the system is trying to autoplay NOT a CD, but maybe a HD. See this: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en-us/regentry/93502.asp put this in a .reg file and run it (everything between the lines): --------------------------------------------- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:00000008 ---------------------------------------------
