Windows update causes unresponsive taskbar theme? Friday, August 18, 2006 at 9:26 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by John (2 messages posted) The other day, Windows update ran and when I rebooted, it had this problem. Crazy taskbar. I even downloaded the Media Center Royale theme to try and fix it. Windows take the theme appearance, but the taskbar stays classic. Trying the chkdsk fix... Anybody else have this problem lately?
