XP Language Corruption - English Mixed With Slovak/Czech

First of all I should say that my XP home edition was attacked by spyware and trojans.
It is now clean and working well, except that SOME items in control panel appear
in foreign language (Slovak I think). These items include Windows Firewall (which
it describes as Brana Firewall), Security Centre (which is something unpronouncable),
and a couple of others as well.

Also, in some options (like if you click the "SYSTEM" icon), one of the tabs shows
in Slovak, while all others are English..... the "System Restore", "Auto Updates",
"Remote", "General", "Computer Name" and "Advanced" tabs are all English, but the
"Hardware" tab says "Hardvar", and if you click on it, all the options are then in
Slovak. This trait is common through some other normal XP menu's as well with most
items being English, but with the odd tab being in Slovak.

Also, some of the error and information messages I get are sometimes in Slovak rather
than English.

I have already been through an XP reload (copying XP over the top of itself), in
order to see if any files would be replaced - but this made no difference whatsoever.

I have used and do use Registry Edit to keep things clean, and as I say, the machine
runs brilliantly apart from this language thing. PLEASE HELP.
