re: Computer protection Monday, August 21, 2006 at 7:04 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Steve (23810 messages posted) There are some Trojans on the Internet that once on the Computer will send the contents of your My Documents Folder, Favorites Folders, Address Book contents etc to the Kids at the other end who are seeding the Trojans. No Firewall will stop them. You just have to avoid practices that allow Trojans from accessing the Computer to start with. If you use a Wireless Router this is another way a local Hacker could gain access if you don't have the Routers security setup right. Also many problems come from someone who has had physical Access to the computer for a short period of time. My Sister had some minor problems that turned out to have come from one of her Sons deadbeat friends.
