All of a sudden my USB port quit responding. If I boot with win98 or with a liveCD (linux or XP) the hardware works fine. If I troubleshoot and reinstall the driver according to MS instructions reinstall fails returning error that there is another device id that conflicts with it. I've been working for months with this and have no restore point to go back to. Can't figure out what device is conflicting and how to clear all USB devices to force a reinstall of all of them.
