What I found in dealing with a scanning issue is there is some sort of limitation
with either the number of items in the folders or the size of all the items in a
folder or a combination of both.
I had a client that had 37000 scanned images in a folder and it was something like
20gig in size. I had the customer split these items up. They could not add one more
item to this folder. I think that might be your issue.
