Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 12:00 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Krishna (1 messages posted) While all the techniques described by the other users failed in my case, I would like to simply discuss of how I restored the transparency of my desktop icons background. 1) Right click on the Desktop 2) Click on properties 3) Select the Desktop tab 4) Now click on customize desktop 5) Now click on the web tab on the top 6) You can see couple of check boxes in the WebPages. 7) Deselect both of them and say ok, you’re all set now.
