Question about 'How do I make the background of desktop icon text transparent?'

While all the techniques described by the other users failed in my case, I would like to simply discuss of how I restored the transparency of my desktop icons background. 1) Right click on the Desktop 2) Click on properties 3) Select the Desktop tab 4) Now click on customize desktop 5) Now click on the web tab on the top 6) You can see couple of check boxes in the WebPages. 7) Deselect both of them and say ok, you’re all set now. Just go back and verify if it worked
