Question about 'Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers'

I have a question about Getting
Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers:
I've been having several problems over the past week whilst I've tried to install
a new wireless network. Every time I feel I'm getting a little further, I hit a new
problem!
I have two Desktops with XP on them. My main computer is connected to a wireless
router via network card and cable, whereas the other has a wireless adapter. So far
I've managed to get them sharing an internet connection, and just recently, I've
also managed to get one computer sharing files with the other.
My main computer can access and browse files on the other computer if I search for
it under 'Start' and 'Search.' If I try to go into 'My Network Places' and look for
workstations that way, it comes up with the error message; "Home is not accessible.
You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the system administrator
of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for
this workgroup is unavailable."
When I then try to access my main computer from the other computer, I can only get
as far as recognising it - when I try to browse files, the above error message comes
up.
I think I've done some of the more obvious things like ensuring the Windows Firewall
is off, and that the network exists in a trusted zone of my third-party firewall.
There was a thread in here somewhere that suggested installing NetBios, which again
is something that I've already done, and that has already solved the last problem
I was having!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
