I have a IBM netvista 6841-GUA 933mhz that I have been working on for a friend.
Aside from getting a real computer, installing win2k or xp hangs on startup screen
after format and install. I have seen problems all the way back to 2000, and from
moving ram, to a different mouse doesnt work. What is it and why doesn IBM or someone
have the answer? I have even tried seperate video. maybe shorting the bios, or
I have also heard that if it is a driver hang, that you need to download all your
drivers from your mobo manufacturer, then burn to cd. Start installation with your
win cd, and hit f6 when it first starts loading, and you then need to let it grab
the drivers individually.
Almost to that point, but though I would keep watching here.
