But I do have a computer using a JPG file as wall paper and displaying desktop labels
without any problems.
In fact, the computer I am using now had always use JPG as wall paper and only started
to displayed colored boxes around labels recently, strangely.

But I do have a machine that uses JPG file as wall paper and does not have any problems
displaying desktop labels.
