Clear out prefetch\systray.exe

In trying to fix the same disappearing system tray problem on my XP machine, I searched
for systray.exe under C:\windows, and found the original systray.exe plus 3 more
under C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch
I manually deleted the 3 copies of systray.exe in C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch and rebooted...
then my system stray showed up!
I hope that works for somebody else as well. Good luck,
