Most browsers you don't have to type the www. Just the name of the site and .com, .org , or whatever. Then the names of sites you've visited int the past that start with the same letters drops down and you hit the PgDn key. That puts the highlight on one of the entries in the list and you just push Enter to go there or use the arrow keys to move to the one you want. If you want to get rid of the function set your browser to not autocomplete.
