Hi to anyone that can help.
I have a 2month old Compaq computer with burn problems in XP. Have removed filters,
run script. Windows xppro sees CDDVD drive. In properties the record tab is set
to enable. IMAPI CD burn is set to start. The drive will burn, but not from the
windowXP programs. by this I mean Windows media player. It will play but when I
try to burn I get "can't find the burner". In program MyDVD message the drives are
disabled (when I check the record tab it is still on enabled) and the program will
not open. However, if I go bacK to a file created in the program when I didn"t have
a problem MyDVD will open and I can burn from there. Just working in a wordprocessor
and windows asked what I want to do with a file, I select burn to DC drive it transfers
the file, prompts with ready to burn click on balloon files waiting, Do that and
try to burn and it says burner not found. I really hope someone can help I have tried
for weeks and have gotten no where. Oh I did the restore to earlier date, still
WMPwill not reconize the drive. Thanks for any help!!!!
